About Isabelle

Isabelle is a young soprano with a love for all types of music. She is in her second year at the Royal College of Music as a scholar supported by a Douglas and Hilda Simmonds Award studying for a BMus degree and is currently training with Janis Kelly and Stephen Varcoe. Isabelle's recent accomplishments include winning the title of  'Best Singer' in the Rotary Young Musician competition, and being awarded the McGowran award for most promising musician and the 'Young Singer of the Year' award, both in the Bournemouth Music Festival.

Isabelle is a highly experienced performer, having competed in multiple contests and sung many recitals. For 6 years she was a member of the award-winning Wessex Youth Orchestra under London Philharmonic Orchestra cellist, Susanna Riddell. She has performed in the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and the Barbican, among others.

Isabelle has been asked to sing twice with the WYO and her recent engagements include Pamina with Broadstone Opera, Belinda with Talbot Heath Opera, and work with Grange Park Opera and Winterbourne Opera. She has just returned from singing with the orchestra of Francois Ragot in France, and has been invited to sing with them again.
